The Medford Parks & Recreation Foundation is excited to announce that we will be kicking off a great community event! The MPRF and Medford Parks and Recreation love our community and we know you love our great parks too! The “Medford Parks Explorers” event kicks off on September 1st!
This will be a local community event in which kids can visit our great parks and take a picture with their favorite aspect of the park, or create an artwork, poem, or video inspired by a Medford park and post it to Facebook with a little message about the park and what they love most about it. The child with the most likes and shares at the end of each season will win a prize from the Medford Parks and Recreation Foundation and the Medford Parks and Recreation Department! This event is free to enter and there will be 3 winners per season, so be sure to add the #MPRF and @MPRF so we can track the entries.
Medford Parks Explorers, presented by MPRF and MP&R is a social media event for the children of Medford and will focus on Medford Parks. All submissions need to be submitted before the last day of the season. Seasons will be Sept 1 – Nov 30, Dec 1 – Feb 28/29, Mar 1 – May 31, June 1 – Aug 31 of each year.
Winning submissions will be the 3 entries that include the tags #MPRF and @MPRF and have the most likes and shares. These entries will win a great gift bundle! There is no limitation on how many times any person can win! Winners will pick up the gift bundle at the Santo Community Center located at 701 N Columbus Ave, Medford, OR 97501.
