There are several ways to get involved with the Medford Parks & Recreation Foundation.
This new program helps us continue to support and potentially expand the work we do in the Southern Oregon community and help fill the void during this time where we can no longer host in-person fundraising events like Parks Uncorked.
You don’t have to be a board member in order to assist with events such as Parks Uncorked or other opportunities that are offered through the Medford Parks & Recreation Department. Committees consisting of board members and community volunteers are the backbone to making these events great. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our contact form here:
Several opportunities to become involved with assisting with your neighborhood park is also part of the Foundation’s mission. Such past projects include clean-ups at; Eastwood Historic Cemetery, Bear Creek Greenway, Ruhl Park Playground installation and Bear Creek Park. If you are interested in participating, please fill out our contact form here:
Public parks are a good indicator of how much we care about ourselves, seniors, children and local families. They are one of the wisest long-term investments we can make in our community.
When we show interest in our parks, we attract and create jobs, build and enhance neighborhoods, and keep ourselves and our children healthy. Your gift to the Medford Parks Foundation is a critical part of that investment.
