There are several ways to get involved with the Medford Parks & Recreation Foundation:
- Board Opportunities: The Medford Parks & Recreation Foundation Board considers individuals for appointment to the Board when openings occur. Please check the Board Members page for information regarding this opportunity.
- Volunteer for Events or Committees: You don’t have to be a board member in order to assist with events such as Parks Uncorked or other opportunities that are offered through the Medford Parks & Recreation Department. Committees consisting of board members and community volunteers are the backbone to making these events great.
- Neighborhood Park Projects: Several opportunities to become involved with assisting with your neighborhood park is also part of the Foundation’s mission. Such past projects include clean-ups at; Eastwood Historic Cemetery, Bear Creek Greenway, Ruhl Park Playground installation and Bear Creek Park.
- Donating Funds: Donations are for specific Foundation supported projects or accepted to honor family members. If you would like to donate or propose a special recognition contribution, contact Alex Modrell at 541-774-2409 or email@example.com to set-up an appointment.
Public parks are a good indicator of how much we care about ourselves, seniors, children and local families. They are one of the wisest long-term investments we can make in our community.
When we show interest in our parks, we attract and create jobs, build and enhance neighborhoods, and keep ourselves and our children healthy. Your gift to the Medford Parks Foundation is a critical part of that investment.
